Laguna Cejar
Enjoy floating in the turquoise waters of Cejar Lagoon
Explore various lagoons within the Salar de Atacama, Chile’s largest salt flat. We will start our journey at Cejar Lagoon, enjoy swimming in the turquoise waters, surrounded by a volcanic landscape, with a flotation effect similar to that of the Dead Sea. We continue on to Tebenquinche Lagoon, to appreciate the magnificent views of the desert and salt expanse. From here we will head to the Ojos del Salar (“the eyes of the salt flat”), two deep wells of freshwater found in the middle of the desert, enjoying a snack and classic Chilean cocktail, a Pisco Sour, as the sun sets. The tour departs from Vilife agency, located on the main pedestrian street of San Pedro, at 14:00. We return to San Pedro de Atacama at approximately 19:30.
